Waste To Fuel

Our Entsorga West Virginia facility is the first resource recovery facility to utilize Entsorga’s patented HEBioT technology in the United States. The HEBioT process recovers almost 80% of municipal solid waste by integrating OEM sorting equipment with patented MBT technologies into a dedicated processing facility. Additionally, the facility will recover traditional recyclables, bio-mass, plastics and other carbon materials and convert the municipal solid waste into an EPA-approved solid engineered fuel to be used in conjunction with coal.

Our waste-to-fuel facility, under construction in Martinsburg, West Virginia, will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and dependency on fossil fuels and landfills. Currently there are 11 facilities around the world utilizing this technology, processing over 1 million tons per year of mixed municipal solid waste.
