Gold Medal Environmental has transformed from a traditional waste disposal company into a technology-driven, vertically-integrated, sustainable waste services provider.
Under a new, experienced management team, Gold Medal’s vision is to utilize technology to set a new standard for sustainable, cost-effective waste disposal in the United States. By leveraging our multiple hauling facilities, state-of-the-art recycling facilities, fleet of over 250 collection vehicles, and more than 500 dedicated employees, we are environmentally committed to municipalities, businesses, and residences we serve in the Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia markets.
Through the use of innovative technology, Gold Medal is changing the way business is done in the waste industry. Our partnership with BioHiTech Global provides innovative and disruptive technology to eliminate food waste from landfills and to convert municipal solid waste into an EPA recognized solid recovered fuel.
Modern data-driven analytical tools provide our customers with a cost-effective solution to optimize their business and generate less waste.
Whether it's traditional waste collection, recyclables processing, smart food waste digestion, or waste-to-fuel manufacturing, Gold Medal’s vertically-integrated model provides end-to-end services to its customers resulting in the most efficient and complete waste removal solution in the industry.
Gold Medal is leading the way to a zero landfill environment. Our state-of-the-art material recovery facilities optimize recycling efforts. Our aerobic digesters can naturally break-down food waste on-site, eliminating it from landfills, reducing logistics and minimizing carbon impact. With our HEBioT™ facilities traditional municipal solid waste is converted to an EPA recognized Solid Recovered Fuel.
The Gold Medal fleet is also partially comprised of compressed natural gas (“CNG”) refuse trucks. CNG is a readily available alternative to diesel fuel that is made by compressing natural gas to less than 1% of its volume at standard atmospheric pressure. CNG trucks are cleaner, quieter and environmentally friendly.
